20 Day Reset - Clean Citrus

PuriFibre Clean Citrus is a liquid prebiotic fibre shot made with just two ingredients. Each 30 mL shot delivers 3.5 g of plant-based prebiotic fibre. A full serve of two shots provides 7 g, meeting the FSANZ Standard 1.2.7 benchmark for an excellent source of fibre. It is low-FODMAP, gluten-free, and made in Perth, Western Australia.

You wanted a PuriFibre flavour with no preservatives, no strong flavouring, no added sugar, and nothing else unnecessary, just functional ingredients. So we created Clean Citrus, a flavour inspired by the simple morning lemon shot.

Why citric acid, not lemon juice?

Citric acid is naturally found in citrus fruits such as lemon and gives them their clean, refreshing tang. While research is still emerging, studies since the early 2000s suggest that citric acid may support gut health through multiple pathways, including prebiotic-like effects that may help encourage the growth of beneficial bacteria.

For Clean Citrus, we chose citric acid instead of lemon juice because we wanted to keep the formula as simple and controlled as possible. Commercial lemon juice often requires preservatives such as sulphites to remain stable over shelf life, and we wanted this product to stay preservative-free while still keeping safety first. By using citric acid, we can deliver that bright citrus flavour in a clean, simple, and shelf-stable way.

How the prebiotic fibre works

Each shot contains 3.5 g of gentle, plant-based prebiotic fibre that travels through your digestive system and reaches the colon, where beneficial gut bacteria can use it as food. As these microbes grow, they produce natural compounds that help support digestion, gut barrier function, and overall microbiome balance.

How to take one 20 Day Reset pack

One serve of PuriFibre is two 30 mL shots (60 mL total), which provides 7 g of liquid prebiotic fibre, equivalent to approximately 25% of the recommended daily intake of dietary fibre for adult females.

It is strongly recommended to start slowly, as a sudden increase in fibre intake may cause temporary digestive discomfort. Begin with one shot per day, ideally followed with a glass of water. Once comfortable, you may increase to two shots per day, best taken one in the morning and one in the evening, staying well hydrated throughout the day.
