20 Day Reset - Peach Ice Tea

PuriFibre Peach Ice Tea is a liquid prebiotic fibre shot with a light tea character and a clean peach finish. Each 30 mL shot delivers 3.5 g of plant-based prebiotic fibre. A full serve of two shots provides 7 g, meeting the FSANZ Standard 1.2.7 benchmark for an excellent source of fibre. It is low-FODMAP, gluten-free, and made in Perth, Western Australia.

Why tea?

Green and black teas are recognised by the U.S. FDA and EFSA for their digestive and antioxidant benefits. In Japan, tea is even approved as a Food for Specified Health Use to support gut health. Our Peach Ice Tea flavoured PuriFibre tastes naturally refreshing, with a light tea character and a clean peach finish, and is blended with our liquid fibre to deliver a smooth, gut-supportive boost in every serving.

Why we use sugar instead of a sweetener?

Most sugar-free drinks are sweetened with polyols: sorbitol, mannitol, xylitol, maltitol, or erythritol. Polyols are the P in FODMAP, and they are poorly absorbed in the small intestine, draw water into the gut, and are fermented in the colon. For people with IBS or a sensitive gut, a sugar-free drink can cause more bloating and discomfort than a sweetened one.

We chose sucrose instead. Sucrose is low-FODMAP, fully absorbed in the small intestine, and does not reach the colon. A full serve of Peach Ice Tea contains 4.7 g of sugar, a little over one teaspoon, which is a fraction of the 40 g or so in a typical 600 mL bottle of commercial iced tea.

That is a deliberate trade-off. We could have made this product sugar-free, but not without adding an ingredient that works against the reason people take a gentle prebiotic fibre in the first place.

How the prebiotic fibre works

Each shot contains 3.5 g of gentle, plant-based prebiotic fibre that travels through your digestive system and reaches the colon, where beneficial gut bacteria can use it as food. As these microbes grow, they produce natural compounds that help support digestion, gut barrier function, and overall microbiome balance.

How to take one 20 Day Reset pack

One serve of PuriFibre is two 30 mL shots (60 mL total), which provides 7 g of liquid prebiotic fibre, equivalent to approximately 25% of the recommended daily intake of dietary fibre for adult females.

It is strongly recommended to start slowly, as a sudden increase in fibre intake may cause temporary digestive discomfort. Begin with one shot per day, ideally followed with a glass of water. Once comfortable, you may increase to two shots per day, best taken one in the morning and one in the evening, staying well hydrated throughout the day.

We have found that one shot of PuriFibre per day is often enough to see its benefits, and this pack can therefore be comfortably completed over 20 days. If you would like a longer routine, the 60 Day Gut Repair Bundle contains three 20 Day packs.
