20 Day Reset - Ginger Tonic

PuriFibre Ginger Tonic is a liquid prebiotic fibre shot made with Australian-grown Queensland ginger. Each 30 mL shot delivers 3.5 g of plant-based prebiotic fibre. A full serve of two shots provides 7 g, meeting the FSANZ Standard 1.2.7 benchmark for an excellent source of fibre. It is low-FODMAP, gluten-free, and made in Perth, Western Australia.

Why ginger?

Ginger shot was first used in the 1700s in Europe as a medicinal tonic, highly valued for its soothing properties. Today, organisations such as Germany's Commission E formally recognise ginger root for supporting digestion and easing nausea, giving this traditional ingredient a strong scientific foundation. Is ginger low-FODMAP?

Yes. Ginger is classified as low-FODMAP by Monash University, the institution that developed the low-FODMAP diet, which makes it one of the few warming spices that suits a sensitive gut. Garlic and onion, by contrast, are high in fructans and are among the most common triggers for people with IBS.

That matters for a fibre product. Many prebiotic fibres themselves are high-FODMAP: inulin and fructo-oligosaccharides are inulin-type fructans, and they ferment rapidly enough to cause gas and bloating in sensitive people. Pairing a rapidly fermented fibre with a high-FODMAP flavouring compounds the problem.

Ginger Tonic avoids both. The fibre is partially hydrolysed guar gum, which ferments more gradually than fructans, and the ginger contributes flavour without adding FODMAP load. Ginger has also been studied for its effects on gastric emptying and digestive comfort, though the evidence for ginger and fibre taken together has not been tested directly.

Each shot contains 3.5 g of gentle, plant-based prebiotic fibre that travels through your digestive system and reaches the colon, where beneficial gut bacteria can use it as food. How to take one 20 Day Reset pack

One serve of PuriFibre is two 30 mL shots (60 mL total), which provides 7 g of liquid prebiotic fibre, equivalent to approximately 25% of the recommended daily intake of dietary fibre for adult females.

It is strongly recommended to start slowly, as a sudden increase in fibre intake may cause temporary digestive discomfort. Begin with one shot per day, ideally followed with a glass of water. Once comfortable, you may increase to two shots per day, best taken one in the morning and one in the evening, staying well hydrated throughout the day.
